this tree was used in sacred ceremonies and magical rites, since begining of time.

The fig tree has a sacred meaning for Buddhists.
According to Buddhist legend, the Buddha, achieved enlightenment one day in 528 B.C. while sitting under a Bodhi tree, a kind of fig tree.

Amethyst means "sincerity" and "freedom from harm".Symbolizing wisdom, deep love, devotion, and peace of mind, the stone was worn historically by royalty to signify power.Amethyst˙s legendary power protected against drunkenness-the name literally means "not drunk".Ancient Romans drank wine from amethyst cups, and for millennia people wore Amethysts to prevent intoxication.
Amethyst˙s color comes from iron, but according to Greek mythology, the god of wine,Bacchus, was offended by Diana, the huntress. In revenge,he declared that the first person he met in the forest would be eaten by his tiger.A beautiful maiden called Amethyst was on her way to worship at the shrine of Diana when she met the tiger.Calling on the goddess to save her,she turned into a sparkling white crystal.Repenting,Bacchus poured wine over her ,producing the stone˙s characteristic purple hue.
Also known as the "Stone of Spirit" or the "Stone of Integrity," Amethyst has been long associated with purity and piety. It is the stone of the Buddha, and in Tibet it is popularly used in the making of prayer beads called Mala beads which are used in the practice of meditation.
Amethyst was used as a gemstone by the ancient Egyptians. Egyptian soldiers wore Amethyst in battle in order to retain their courage.
Sages and Shamans of several tribal societies were known to use Amethyst crystals as talismans, or objects of power. The crystals are also used in forms of natural healing, as with traditional Chinese medicine which has prescribed ground Amethyst to alleviate stomach pains or bad dreams.
